Trust is a tricky and fragile art .

One of the most valuable lessons I have ever learned,
is that you don't want people to know you like them .

Just like them .
And if luck will have it,
they will like you back .

Letting them know is not in your best interest .
It will only induce a suspicion in their heart
that you will not be able to undo .

Simply let everything come naturally ..
with the exception of keeping
any mention of your ardor all to yourself .

It took me the longest time to learn that,
and I do not want to ever have to learn it again .
